Physiotherapy is a fully recognised degree level medical discipline involving in-depth study of anatomy, physiology, neurology, psychology, sociology, biomechanics, rehabilitation and exercise. All Premier Physiotherapists have a minimum 5 years post-graduate experience and undergo continuous professional development training and updating. This equates to a minimum of 8 or 9 years minimum exposure to client contact and training.

How do we treat them? The practice involves detailed assessment of all neuro-musculoskeletal conditions with the aim to define the cause of pain and symptoms. Once achieved, the use of many different techniques can be utilised including – Mobilisation, Manipulation, Neural Dynamics, Muscle rebalancing, Postural re-education Biomechanical analysis, Exercise Therapy, Rehabilitation, Electrotherapy, Acupuncture, Muscle energy techniques, Trigger Points, Deep Tissue release, Traction, Stretching, Propioceptive neuro-muscular facilitation, Resistance training. For example: An office worker who is experiencing Lower Back Pain must not only receive treatment to clear the pain but also adapt their workstation, chair etc. to prevent recurrence.
